  • Unlike adult cancers, only three drugs have achieved FDA approval for use in children since 1980

Ovarian Cancer Facts:

  • All women are at risk for Ovarian Cancer
  • Diagnosis at an early stage dramatically increases patients’ survival rate
  • Contrary to popular opinion, an annual PAP Smear may not detect Ovarian Cancer
  • Awareness of the symptoms is crucial to an early diagnosis
    • Abdominal swelling or bloating that does not dissipate
    • Persistent difficulty eating or feeling full quickly
    • Pain in the abdominal or pelvic region
    • Urgency and/or frequency of urination
