Impacting Lives and Families
Since 2007, the Martin Truex Jr. Foundation has donated millions of dollars to various underfunded childhood cancer organizations to assist the individuals and families affected by these terrible diseases. Because of the generous support of our sponsors we have impacted the lives of countless children.
Gift to Novant Health in 2018
The Martin Truex Jr. Foundation Children’s Emergency Department opened in August of 2022. This new state-of-the-art facility is the first children’s emergency department in the Lake Norman/Huntersville region.
In 2020, MTJF and SherryStrong opened the Integrative Medicine Oncology Clinic with Novant Health’s new Cancer Institute in Charlotte, NC. The clinic serves as a holistic center that addresses the physical, emotional, spiritual, and environmental needs of cancer patients to promote health and wellness regardless of a person’s ability to pay.
Catwalk for a Cause
Since its inception in 2010, Catwalk has continued to grow each year while raising over 5 million dollars for cancer initiatives specific to women and children.
Transformational Gift to Atrium Health
$750,000 transformational gift – Funds will be used to support integrative medicine initiatives at Levine Cancer Institute and pediatric cancer programs at Levine Children’s Hospital.
Karting for Cancer
Annual fundraiser that lets race fans turn left and right in competition and, in turn, raise awareness and funding in the fight against childhood cancer.
